Grande Centre Point Hotel Ratchadamri
5 Star at a great price, centrally located
This serviced apartment is centrally located, 3-5 min walk from the SkyTrain on Ratchadamri Rd. It is also a 15 min walk from the famous Siam Paragon Mall. It is located on a side street around the corner from the Grand Hyatt and Four Seasons. The apartments include a kitchen, medium sized dining table and washer/dryer. The rooms are spacious, very clean and modern - we had a grand deluxe for 5 nights with our toddler and had plenty of space. The main entrance to the hotel is very grand. The swimming pool is amazing and very big. The hotel also has a kids play area - indoor and outdoor that is perfect for infants and toddlers (which is one of the main reasons we selected this hotel). Our son loved it and did not want to leave. We had a breakfast buffet included but the food quality was average. That said it is good enough especially if you have kids and just need food in the morning before you start the day. Two issues - there is no bar in the hotel, but since it is more of a service apt/residence, I assume they do not feel it is needed and the Internet service was free but seem to be slow. The staff was friendly but as is the case in many parts of Thailand, English is not spoken very well so it can be a bit annoying. There are lots of nice hotels in BKK but given the amenities that we needed for our family, you can't a better value given the location.

Stayed on New Year’s Day for one night in a grand suite. What a great hotel. Check in was a bit irregular and a long affair which we put down to the timing... this aside the staff, facilities and suite were magnificent> Two TV’s in room was real family saver with each of us finding the little time to view for relaxation catered for. Bathroom had on suite from master bedroom and also entrance from main studio (loosely used as large kitchen area + dining set + lounge and study area all in one sizeable room). Afternoon tea in the lobby is free and caters for a selection of tipples and sweet nibbles which was a nice touch on arrival. Help with taxis and getting them to go where they should go could be improved.
